Step 1: Launch the Instagram application on your mobile.
Step 2: Swipe Right and select Story or you can also click on the + (plus) icon on the top left and then select story.
Step 3: Swipe up & Select a Photo or Video to upload your Story, or capture it.
Step 4: Swipe up on the screen or press the “Sticker Button” at the top.
Step 5: Select “Music” from the available stickers in the menu bar (search for it if you cannot find it).
Step 6: Either Search for the Song you want or browse by mood, genre, or trending.
Step 7: To add a song to your Story, simply Touch The Song’s Name. Press the Play button to listen to the music before adding.
Step 8: Select the preview of the sticker and also select the portion of the song you want to add to your story along with the duration of the music.
Step 9: Click on “Done” and place your sticker on your Stories at the desired location by dragging it.
Step 10: At the bottom-left of the screen, click the “Your Story” button to upload your story.

How to Add Music to Instagram Story Without Using Stickers
You’re in luck if you don’t want to use the music stickers; there are a few alternative ways to add your favourite tunes to your Instagram Stories.
Typically, Stories are generated in the spur of the moment, with no time to thoroughly photograph and edit them, especially when they’re just for fun.
If you don’t want the Instagram Music sticker to block your Story, you can make it invisible by hiding it. You can also add music from other sources like Spotify, Apple Music, Sound Cloud, etc., or Video with Music to your Stories on Instagram.
Making the Sticker Disappear
This is a simple and straightforward method of adding music to Instagram without stickers.
Pinch to shrink the sticker’s size, then drag it to the top of the screen until it disappears. Although the music continues to play, the sticker is completely obscured.
You could also apply another method here. The method described above is straightforward and straightforward, however, it fails when you can’t discover the music you want on Instagram at all.
Using a Video Editor
