Then, you can share your Snapchat videos with your friends or post them on your story as a series of 10-second snaps. The 10-second clips will appear in sequential order when other users will play them.
You cannot record a video on Snapchat longer than 60 seconds. Note that you can get a similar outcome by making a series of 60 seconds clips and sharing it in a sequence.
How to Make Long Videos on Snapchat
The following tutorial will show you how to record videos on Snapchat of up to 60 seconds in length.
Step1: Open the Snapchat app and press & hold the shutter icon at the bottom of the screen.
Hold the shutter icon for 60 seconds to create a video of 60 seconds in length. Your video will record in several 10-second chunks.
Remember that you cannot record more than 60 seconds long videos. So, the recording will stop when it hits the 60-second mark.
Step2: Stop pressing the shutter icon at the right time to record a video lesser than 60 seconds in length.
Step3: You can customize your Snapchat video by adding stickers or captions to it. Note that the stickers and captions you add will appear throughout your video instead of during individual 10-second chunks.
