From an Opened Chat
Step1: Tap the conversation name at the top of the chat screen.
Step2: Select the Restrict option under the Privacy and Support section.
From Chats List
Step1: Tap the Chats icon to see the list of all of your conversations on Messenger.
Step2: Swipe left on the conversation with the person you want to restrict.
Step3: Select More, then tap the Restrict option.

Step1: Launch the Messenger app and tap your profile picture in the top-left corner from the Chats screen.
