Steps to view Instagram Stories Using Instagram’s story

Well, you might be wondering how exactly we can do this using Instagram’s stories itself, This is how it can be done:

Step 1: Open Instagram Application on your Mobile Phone.

Step 2: Open the Story of the user who is before or after the user whose story you want to view.

For Example, There are 5 users whose stories are shown on the home screen as A B C D E. Suppose, you want to view the story of B then in this case you should open the stories of either A or C.

Step 3: Pause the story by holding it and Slowly Swipe left or right of the story. Note that you should not swipe it fully, you just have to swipe it half.

For example in the above case, if you have opened the story of A then you must swipe Right and if you have opened C, you have to swipe to the left. In short, you have to swipe to the side of the story you’ve opened where the story was visible in the home screen.

As Instagram offers a 3 D view while swiping stories of the users, we can make the best use of this to view stories of the users whom we don’t want to let them know that we’ve viewed their story.

There are however some disadvantages of viewing the stories with the stories of other users. The advantages and disadvantages are discussed as under:

Advantages:

1. View Stories without Letting other know that you’ve viewed their story.

3. Story of even a Private Account can be seen if you have followed them.

Disadvantages:

1. Only a single story can be viewed.
2. Videos on the stories cannot be viewed.
3. If swiped fully, the user would come to know that we’ve viewed their story.
4. You cannot view story of user whom you’ve not followed.

Steps to view Instagram Stories Using an External Application

If you are comfortable using a 3rd party application to view stories of users without anyone knowing, then you may follow the steps mentioned below.

Please be cautious while using a 3rd party application. Do not accept permission from the applications, that you think might not be necessary for that application. However, if you want to use them, use them at your own risk.

For Android Devices:

Step 1: Download Story Saver Application from Playstore. Do not download any application from an untrusted source. Download any of the applications.

Step 2: Log in to the application and search for the user whose story you want to view.

Step 3: You can view in the format of feed and also download the stories if you want.

For iOS Devices:

Step 1: Download Story Reposter Application. Do not download any application from an untrusted source. Download any of the applications.

Step 2: Log in to the application and search for the user whose story you want to view.

Step 3: Tap on the folder with the stories of that users and view them.

For Pcs:

Step 1: Logon to storiesig.com.

Step 2: Search for the user whose story you want to view.

Step 3: You can now view all of the stories and also download them.

Like the other method, this method also has some disadvantages. The advantage and disadvantages are discussed as under.

Advantages:

1. View Stories of user without them knowing.
2. View storeis of users whom we have not even followed.
3. Free to Use applications.

Disadvantages:

1. Need to download an external application.
2. Cannot view the stories of Private accounts.
